A road curving between red rock cliffs toward pale sandstone peaks in Zion.

From shore
to crest.

The story behind Shorecrest, and the 45 days on the road that started it.

Shorecrest began with 45 days on the road.

Mountains. Ocean. Long drives. Quiet places that made the rest of life feel a little smaller.

The trip left me with photographs, but it also left me with a feeling I wanted to hold onto: there is more to life than the same routine, over and over.

Shorecrest is for people who know that feeling. The campers. The van lifers. The stargazers. The ones who are tired of the rat race, and the ones who have hit the bottom and found a little peace in natural beauty on the way back up.

The scenery in this collection comes from photographs I took along the way. Real places. Real moments. A coastline that made me stop. A mountain that put things in perspective. Water, trees, and a sky with room to breathe.

I wanted to turn those moments into something you could keep close: a canvas you live with, a shirt you reach for, a mug for slow mornings.

That's Shorecrest. A little of the road, carried into everyday life.

What the name means.

Two words, and the whole climb in between.

Shore

Where the land runs out. The lowest ground there is, and an honest place to start. When there's nowhere left to fall, the only way left is up.

Crest

The top of the wave. The top of the ridge. The place you turn around and finally see how far you've come.

45 days on the road.

Coastline, high desert, alpine lakes, and every long empty highway in between. These are the places the photographs came from.
